Dialogue spaces represents an opportunity to enhance capabilities and share good practices towards a culture of learning. It allows fostering the competences required by policymakers and practitioners to face different challenges through constructive responses.
UNCTAD, in partnership with UNITAR hosted a first series of 8 online discussions on the impact of the global pandemic on entrepreneurship and MSMEs, showcasing good practices across the world on Fintech, green, agri, blue, inclusive and resilient entrepreneurship. The discussions were attended by more than 2500 participants.
A second series of online events is focused on raising awareness of the e-learning course on “Policy making for sustainable entrepreneurship”.
As the governments of South Africa, Uganda and Seychelles are developing National Entrepreneurship Strategies (NES), a virtual session took place, aimed at promoting a better understanding of the importance of facilitating entrepreneurship for sustainable development and highlighted the different policy objectives of these three countries and the contribution of entrepreneurship strategies to these objectives. Under the framework of this event, the English version of the e-learning course on “Policy making for sustainable entrepreneurship” was launched.
