The Entrepreneurship Policy Framework and Implementation Guidance aims to support developing country policymakers in the design of initiatives, measures and institutions to promote entrepreneurship. It identifies policy objectives and options in the form of recommended actions, and proposes checklists, case studies and good practices. It also offers a user guide and methods for policy monitoring and evaluation, suggesting a set of indicators to measure progress.

This publication analyzes the increasingly important role played by entrepreneurs of small and medium-sized enterprises and start-ups in strengthening health systems in developing countries.

A third of all entrepreneurs in the world are women. Their contribution to development is clear. As their businesses grow, they inspire, create jobs, and offer themselves, their families, and their communities a chance for a better, more inclusive future.

This study provides an overview of the interaction of competition policy and law on the micro, small and medium-sized enterprise (MSME) sector in Brazil.

The study assesses the challenges faced by MSMEs in South Africa during the COVID-19 pandemic. The assessment has been conducted with a focus on various sectors in the South African economy including the agriculture, construction, food and beverages and manufacturing.

The course aims at bringing to the fore the application of competition policy and law interventions that further the entry, growth, and sustainable development of MSMEs, more so during and after a pandemic such as COVID-19.

This regional workshop provides an opportunity to enhance the understanding and knowledge of ESCAP member States on the innovations in payments and regulatory frameworks currently in place across the ESCAP region. The workshop also aims to bring best practices and innovations from across the ESCAP region and offer different approaches and perspectives for public and private sector stakeholders in adapting interoperable payment systems and leveraging digital solutions to support individuals and MSMEs.

On 27 - 28 June 2022, UNCTAD-CCPB presented the three products aimed at facilitating the economic recovery post COVID-19 through enhanced participation of MSMEs in the offline and online marketplaces.
